According to my experience there are lots of career scope in animation and VFX field. Animation and VFX is biggest part of Media and Entertainment industry.
Accordingly FICCI report, Media and Entertainment Industry is highly growth field right now.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is an association of business organizations in India.
The media and entertainment industry in India consists of many different segments under it’s folds, such as television, print, and films, radio, music, OOH, animation, gaming and visual effects (VFX) and Internet advertising. You can work all these segments.
In these segments, you need just understanding of software skill, tools of the industry no further requirement is needed.
As per the combined survey report by KMPG and FICCI, the entertainment industry in India is expected to expand by 12.5% every year and is likely to reach US$20.09 billion by the year 2013.
The industry is estimated to achieve growth of 13 per cent in 2011 to touch US$16.2 billion. As the industry braces for exciting times ahead, the sector is projected to grow at a CAGR of 19 percent 2020 which is highest growth as compare to other fields that mean more income and jobs.
In MNCs like Pixar, Technicolour (Bangalore), Rythm and Hues (Hyderabad), Red chilies, Prime Focus, DQ entertainment etc. salaries are more than software engineers.
If you are interested in this field, so you can just join a professional career based course in best institute no degree is required in this field, because I have already mentioned that Animation and VFX depends on creativity and software skills.

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a fashion institute in India. It was set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and is an institution of design, management and technology for the international fashion business. Majority of todays famous fashion designer are NIFT pass out.
Eligibility for its flagship program Bachelor of Design B.Des (Fashion Design / Leather Design / Accessory Design / Textile Design / Knitwear Design / Fashion Communication) is as follow:
(a) The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. Or
(b) General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB).or
(c) Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system. or
(d) A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects. Or
(e) 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
You are eligible to appear in CAT conducted by NIFT.

-Physical requirements - Height for Air Hostesses - minimum of 157.5 cm and Flight Pursers 163 cm with proportionate weight.
-Graduates in the age group of 19-25 years for training. Preference is given to Degree or Diploma holders in Hotel Management/Tourism.
-Female candidates from Home science background, fulfilling other requirements, are also preferred. International Airlines recruit flight attendant in the age group of 18-35 years.
-Good language, ability and proficiency in English, Hindi, a regional language and at least one foreign language are essential requirements for inflight crew members working for National or International carriers.
-Normal eyesight without glasses or a minimum uncorrected distant vision of 6/40 is acceptable.
-To pursue a career as a Flight attendant, there are many institutes offering courses in Cabin crew training .

Hi, universities will open the admission rounds after August so you have to keep checking, deadlines differ from university to university, since you will be completing your exams in March 2018 you will have ample time to prepare and apply for the Fall 2019 intake. 6 to 10 months is generally required to prepare for the admission rounds. Start preparing early so that you can apply early. Ivy Leagues are not just about passing your exams with high grades but you must be an all-rounder to fit in. Take part in extracurriculars, do voluntary works, projects etc. See on what ways you can compete with other applicants. You can take the SAT this year so that you can focus on your boards. Or immediately after your boards.
