For Security u must be having sound knowledge of LAN & Wan and for setting up of LAN and WAN u must have sound knowledge of Operating System. If u choose Linux platform for ur career then it would have been the ultimate cos most of the servers are running on Linux now a days. So better u go with RHCE and RHCSS for the Security Specialist.
