It all depends upon the performance of the students during the academic years.
Some companies preferred candidates with work experience because the job profile is such that the candidate might have work in the related job profile before or has basic understanding of the fundamentals.
Some preferred freshers as companies want fresh candidates who are ready to learn through the existing company's culture.
At the end, it depends upon your knowledge of the required field and communication skills (for presentations, GDPI, interviews ). These are the most important aspect of any B-school academic years and placements.
Decide on the required fiel

You can choose your career on the basis of your graduation course and if you haven't opt any particular professional or academic course for your graduation, then firstly, you have to think and judge your interest. There are various courses and options nowadays which nobody can suggest until you decide yourself that in which field you can do the best. I would suggest you to go on that path only in which you can perform well and move further in your career. Still, I will tell you the courses which you can try for, Hotel Management, Media, BBA Architecture, Law, Teacher/Lecturer, etc. Think, Decide and choose.

btech cse is a lot better in terms of career as compared to bca. u should get the descent job from btech cse evn if u do it frm nt very good college bt getting job from bca is bit difficult. most likely u need to do mca after it to get job.

after 12th there are many options such as going for graduation and then PG or, Graduation from correspondance and with that any professional course such ca/cs/icwa.
or graduation from regular college but should be a reputed one and there after any professional course.
