Hi Rajesh,
If you had your interests in finance & Banking, you should have chosen the same as your MBA specialization as well.However, now you can either go for certification like CFA or PG Diploma of one year in Banking and Finance through institutes like IIBF, IIFP etc.

Hi Akj,
Although, even Engg + CWA is also a good combination if you want to get into purely in finance but keep few things in mind which are pointed by Gomti as well, That CWA takes quite a long time to get over whereas MBA gets completed with in two years, apart from this MBA develops your overall personality and impart in you team leading & Analytical skills apart from the theoretical knowledge of the Management subjects. If you still feel that you should go for CWA then I would say go ahead as, more than any thing else the thing which will make you successful in your career is your own interests and career aspirations.

Hi Subramanya, you will already have a Masters when you apply for PhD. Am not clear about what do you want to integrate your PhD with?

Hi Shounak, so kind of course are you interested in pursuing?
There are 2 intakes in a yearSep/Oct and MArch/April. The application and admission process takes about 9 months so youneed to plan accordingly. Thedeadline for Sep/Oct intake is in Jan and for March /Aprilintake is in July. Hence, youwill need to make an early application.
