Hello Ashwani,
Even I had this quesry the last year when I was choosing a Business School. All the MBA colleges in India want you to take tests like MAT/CAT but some of them give you the flexibility of applying trough their own entrance test.
I was really lucky to be in Delhi Business School, which had its own entrance test and I am so grateful thaat was the option and because of that I chose DBS which is in totality a complete Business school.
I am currently a student of the Delhi Business school pursuing dual MBA in Marketing and Finance. i have got my summer job with HSBC financial Services in the Financial Sector(CTC 7 Lakhs). So if you have any questions please let me know.

I am currently a student at the Delhi Business School pursuing MBA dual in Finance and Marketing. I have got my summer placements with HSBC Global Financial services.which is a premeir financial services company in the world.(CTC 7 lakhs)
Indeed The placements at the Delhi business school have been really good tis season with the company offering the highest salary was WWG group with CTC 12 Lakhs PA.
These are thecompanies which have visited the campus so far. The average placement have been good too.

Hello,
There are a lot of IT engineers passing out and they have similar queries as yours. For IT engineers, since their analytical skills are really strong, they should choose Operations and Finance.
There is a lot of value in a full time course than a part time MBa which is just any other degree in essesnce.
My Example, I am a regular student at the Delhi Business School and Pursuing a MBA dual degree in Finance and Marketing. What i am experiencing is a very industry related course curriculum because of which i have got great summer placement with HSBC global. Likewise as a student you could learn Health care management as well as doing Finance courses which means a dual MBA. Top that up with a diploma in Entrepreneurship and business and you are ideally positioned in your career graph.
Like wise at Delhi Business School you could pursue an MBA in Finance and Operations and also IT as a majors if you want. There is also a lot of demand for SAP/ERP courses in the corporate sector, And these are a part of curriculum at DBS.
All this you only learn in a full time course in a good b school like DBSMake your Choice wisely.

What I could gauge from your query is that you have completed your B.Com and want to pursue a course further in general Management, if this is your query you can go for full time MBA through a decent B-School. As you have done B.Com the specialization you can take up: Finance or HR. If you can not go for Full time MBA then you probably in look for some PG Diploma programme in banking and Finance, or certifications like CFA, CFP etc.

The first stage, the Civil Services Prelims is composed of two objective exams: one of General studies and one of a subject of one's choice amongst a given list of subjects.The candidates can choose to be examined in about forty fields, from Civil Engineering and Medicine to Chinese Literature and Accountancy. This is purely an eliminatory stage and plays no part in the final rankings. About 5000-6000 of the applicants are selected for the next stage called the Civil Services Mains. The second stage is more exhaustive. It has nine papers of which two are qualificatory in nature. One has to choose two optional sujects of once's choice as compared to one in the Preliminary stage. There are two papers of General Studies, Optional 1 and Optional 2 and one Essay paper. Around 1200-1400 aspirants clear Mains and sit for the third stage i.e the Civil Services Interview . Every candidate is asked to choose their preference of services before the interview. Almost all of them choose IAS as their first choice but a few opt for Indian Police Service or the Indian Foreign Service. Indian Revenue Service is usually the fourth choice. Repeated attempts are allowed (maximum of 4 times)

HI Agrima, for technical courses work ex is not mandatory. But if you have some then it will only be helpful for you. If you have missed the deadlines for application then it is always advisable that you work instead of sitting idle.
There are 2 intakes in a yearSep/Oct and MArch/April. The application and admission process takes about 9 months so youneed to plan accordingly. Thedeadline for Sep/Oct intake is in Jan and for March /Aprilintake is in July. Hence, youwill need to make an early application.
Once the University receives your application they may takeabout 3-4 months to inform youof the decision. Not all Univmay intimate you if your application is incomplete, hence it is your duty to ensure thatyou send all the requested documents in one go to avoid anylast minute issues.
If you do not want to apply directly or are apprehensive youtake help from UNI ASSIST. they charge Euro 55 for their service of applying to 2-3 univ.And additional Euro 15 per univ.
