Almost all of the discussed careers are related to Biology so I won't do that. Have you ever thought about exploring Science even in college, like studying Chemistry Physics computers, and even Maths. If yes, then I'm sure you are not alone. What's even better? Some colleges offer such opportunities by letting you study different subjects for some semesters (depending on the college) and letting you choose your major subject from them depending on your actual interest. Some national level and reputed colleges can even offer you degrees in subjects you might not have even studied in 12th. The reason for answering such open-mindedly is for those still confused but thought to be felt wrong. For those who might be forced to choose a degree of lesser interest to them. The intention was just to make you feel that it's OKAY as well as Natural to be so, just explore the type of exposure you would want in your higher studies. For being eligible to apply for MCA, you have to have mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. If you fulfil these criteria you are eligible for MCA.
As far as other information regarding MCA is concerned, we would like to state that most of the entrance tests are conducted in April or May. Notifications are out in January or February. The combined MCA entrance tests held in India are: NIMCET for NITs, CET Maharashtra for Maharashtra colleges, UPMCAT for most colleges in UP, Andhra Pradesh CET for Colleges in Andhra Pradesh,Orissa State MCA Test for all Colleges in Orissa, MET for All college under Punjabi university. GNDU, & PTU in Punjab, madhya pradesh-Pre MCA Test for all colleges in madhya pradesh, Kerala MCA Test for all colleges in Kerala.
The most reputed universities and colleges offering MCA degree in India are: Delhi University, Pune University, Jawahar Lal Nehru university, New Delhi, IIT Roorkee, NIT Trichy, VJTI, Mumbai, Banaras Hindu University, MNNIT Allahabad, ICSE Indore, Thapar University. Other colleges offering MCA are NITs, Vellore Institute, PSG Coimbatore, Hyderabad Central University, BITS Mesra, Jalgaon University, and Punjab University etc.
