There is nothing like AITE, its AICTE. All India Council of Technical Education is a centralised regulatory body which approves engineering and management courses/colleges if they follow the guidelines of the body. MAKAUT (formerly known as WBUT) is the technical state university of west bengal which affiliates engineering and management colleges. You cant draw differences between their nature of work, one is university and other is a regulatory body. The bschools like IEM, etc are under wbut university as well as approved by AICTE. In case of bschools its mandatory to be approved by AICTE even if it doesnot comes under any university. Likewise, IIMs and many reputed bschools are not under any university but approved by AICTE, ministry of human resource development. All the best. Thank you.

The cut-offs vary year after year. Kindly fill forms in colleges that offer History Hons.
Delhi University is all set to start the admission process for the academic year 2016-17. DU Admission Committee has decided that the varsity will begin the Undergraduate admission process from May 25. Delhi University Admission Forms 2016 will be available online only from May 25 to June 14. The DU Admission forms for Sports and ECA (Extra Curricular Activites) will also be available online only. The fees of the application form for General category applicants is Rs. 100 and for reserved category students Rs. 50. The offline admission forms will not be available this year. The registrations are kept 'online only' as per the instructions of UGC.
