As per university website, Amity Universities are fully Government recognised and the degrees awarded by them are recognized by the UGC. Universities are accredited by NAAC with A Grade. First of all think that ending up with 65% in +2 is not the end of the road. Of course, you may not get admission to some prestigious colleges for your UG. But you could try in some other private colleges for your UG. As you have not mentioned your taste, it is very difficult to suggest a course.

Every university in US has a different entry requirements and different levels of selectivity. A top ranking university might also accept you if your overall profile is outstanding and you have an excellent GRE score. You must focus on preparing a good application package, check university websites for admission requirements and prepare accordingly. Check QS ranking for the university ranks and check universities below rank 30.
