The seat allocation is done only on the basis of your AIR and not on the basis of your home state ranking.Home state ranking is just for informative purpose.There are 50% home state seats and 50% other state seats.For NITK,you will be considered for home state seats and for all other nits,you will be considered for othe state seats.For more details,visit the CSAB website and download the information brochure,wherein all the details are given very clearly.Also refer to the last year cutoffs which may vary this year.
