(b)Passed Senior Secondary Examination under 10+2 scheme of a recognised Board or an Examination recognised by the Central Government as equivalent thereto or has passed National Diploma in Commerce Examination held by the All India Council for Technical Education or any State Board of Technical Education under the authority of the said All India Council, or the Diploma in Rural Service Examination conducted by the National Council of Higher Education. Intermediate Course:
Eligibility for Admission: (a)Passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2)and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India/ Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CA. Of the Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CA. Of the Institute (b)Passed Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICAI by what ever name called along with 10+2. (c)List of other qualifying examination are given vides Annexure VI of prospectus. Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services IAS & IPS Exam:
I)Academic Eligibility
*The candidate must hold a pass Bachelors degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University, under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
*Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the Preliminary Examination.
*All such candidates who qualify the Prelims examination must produce a proof of Pass Bachelor Degree to appear for the Civil Services Main Examination. This Degree has to be attached with their application for the Main Examinations.
*The UPSC may in exceptional cases treat a candidate without the foregoing requisite qualification as an eligible candidate if he / she have passed an examination conducted by other institutions, the standard of which justifies his / her admission in the opinion of the Commission. The criteria may apply to candidates having Bachelor's degree from any reputed foreign university for example Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, etc.
