The stipend amount and schemes vary a lot from university to university. And there is no such mandatory provision to provide scholarship to all the candidates qualifying or having Valid GATE Score.

Asansol Engineering College,a self financing institute, established in 1998 and is situated at Asansol which is situated close to West Bengal-Jharkhand border and about 200 Kms away from mega city of Kolkata. It offers BTech in various disciplines and is accredited to All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology , Kolkata .
Also at this college Many MNCs like Infosys,TCS,IBM,TVS Motors,Nokia,Wipro etc recruit the students.

There are many institutes in India which are offering Diploma courses in different fields and without knowing as to for which field you are referring to, it becomes difficult to provide any information without any prior details.
