Selection to most of the courses is conducted through an entrance examinations which includes a written test, interview and group discussion.
Eligibility for M.Sc. In Hotel Management:
As a minimum criterion of eligibility, the course requires the candidate to have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised institute with a minimum aggregate score of 50%

Eligibility criteria of B.Sc. (Pass) Home Science of Lady Irwin College is given below. Eligibility criteria: Candidates seeking admission to First year B.Sc. Home Science should have passed SSC Examination (12 year course) of the CBSE/ ISC (12-year course) or an Examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks, in the aggregate with the following subjects:
1. English plus 3 papers from Science, Home Science, Commerce or Social Sciences streams.
2. Fine Art, Music, Dance, Physical Education will not be considered. Vocational streams will not be eligible.
3. It is essential to have cleared English. So from above you are not eligible for this course.

Firstly, remember that you have to be dedicated for your exam preparation, only then you will be able to get good scores in the exam. Otherwise, you won't be able to. You should follow the below tips to prepare for the CSIR NET Exam:
1. As there is not much time left, so from now you should focus more on the important topics only.
2. Prepare a daily time-table. Wake up early and take tough topics in the morning time or whenever you can easily learn tough topics. At that time you will be able to give your 100% and will able to learn easily.
3. Solve as many previous year question papers and take online mock tests to analyze your preparation level. This will also improve your speed and accuracy while solving questions.
4. While preparing for the exam you should also take care of your health as well. Avoid eating junk food. Always take a healthy and balanced diet.
