You can take the exam conducted IMU (Indian Marine University). It contains 4 section namely physics, chemistry, maths and Gk. Through IMU, you can get admission in a government college in India.
In IMU, there are several courses:

Top colleges in India are:

3. IMU, Mumbai
If you get one of these three colleges then only apply for the marine engineering because other colleges don't have very good placements. To get any of these colleges, you have to secure a rank under 500.
