1. Educational Qualification:

It has a good mix of static and topical questions, with some bordering on niche (see past papers to know what I mean!). For candidates appearing for CSE, this portion becomes easy to handle with some answer writing practice. But for those who are preparing solely for IFS exam, here is my recommended booklist (please feel free to add as per your self-SWOT analysis, but don't go overboard with booklist). The IIT JEE Mains exam is the first step to take admission into the IIT institutes for the engineering courses.
The candidates who qualifies the JEE mains will be eligible to appear for JEE advanced exam. After qualifying the JEE advanced exam, candidates will be selected to take admission into one of the IIT based on the cut off marks.
