The IIT JEE Mains exam is the first step to take admission into the IIT institutes for the engineering courses.
The candidates who qualifies the JEE mains will be eligible to appear for JEE advanced exam. After qualifying the JEE advanced exam, candidates will be selected to take admission into one of the IIT based on the cut off marks.
The candidates can take admission into NITs or private engineering institutes based on the JEE mains score.
Check the admission notification of the institute in which you are going to take admission.
