Well, you have a good score but the number of backlogs can be a matter of concern. As Canadian universities do not accept more than 5 backlogs. It would also depend on your IELTS or TOEFL score and GRE. You need to draft a strong sop that explains your educational journey well and give reasons for these backlogs. No, for getting admitted to Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, you have to appear for the CAT exam. If you clear the cutoff of merit list you are through for the further process of admission in MBA.
However, there is another way of getting a MBA degree but that will be done from a different faculty, i.e. Faculty of Commerce but the degree from Institute of Management Studies is valued much higher.
