If you want to get into the top 100 B Schools, in India, you need to clear CAT with a good percentile, since most of these institutes, accept only CAT scores. Apart from this, you have other reputed B Schools, who have their own entrance tests like, NMAT , SNAP , FMS , XAT, and so on.

Your priority should be, to ensure, that you do your MBA, from the top 100 B Schools in India. You can look at giving your CAT exam, in November 2011 . Most of the B Schools have tie ups with banks, to provide educational loan, for their students. Ensure that you take the maximum repayment period. This will ensure that you are left with a decent amount after your EMI gets deducted, which in turn, will help you to take care of your family, even though you might end up paying a little more amount, by way of interest.
