Occupational therapy is all about involves serving people with physical or mental disabilities so that they can attain reasonable level of functioning and independence in all aspects of their daily routines. Mass Comm is a very demanding and challenging course and has a lot to offer like Journalism, advertising, PR etc. So you have got a lot of options in Mass Comm to choose a specialization. But as a friend I would suggest you to think about the decision again because you are pursuing interior designing and after that Mass Comm will be totally different and you have to start from scratch.
But keeping in mind your sincere interest towards Media and your background in designing, I would suggest you to go with Advertising and PR.
Advertising field requires a lot of creativity and innovation. In advertising one has to do a lot of research in order to study the demand of the product in the market, then you need to design the advertisement according to the target consumers depending upon the age group, gender etc. Thus making the advertisement field more interesting and challenging. PR is a very good course and has a lot of demand in the professional market. PR requires more of personality and communication skills, one needs to get his or her work done.
