Dear Shubhra, IIM-Shillong offers three courses, I am giving detail of all three:-
1. "Post-Graduate Diploma in Management".
The tuition fee for the ongoing batch of the two-year residential PG Programme is INR 4.00 Lacs. The fees does not include boarding & lodging charges.

3. CERTIFICATE COURSE IN SUSTAINABLE INFRASTRUCTURE
BUILDING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The course fee is Rs 75,000 per person per course. The payment schedule is
three equal installments of Rs 25,000 each . Candidates have to pay by cheque
(3 nos –open dated but will redeemed within 5 months of equal duration
after giving due intimation to the candidates at the time of joining.
All cheques must be submitted along with the application. The cheques should
be drawn in favour of RGIIM Shillong. No further payment is required or any
other hidden cost is associated with course. No fee will be refunded once the
course commences. Discontinuation midway will entail a deduction of Rs
15,000 from the remaining amount as fee, if there is a valid reason for
withdrawal from the course.

Hi Angel, social Work is the program that aim those who are working or desired to work for society, especially in the welfare and development of children, old age people and with the NGOs.
The minimum eligibility for applying MSW is graduation from the reputed institutes. Students from other discipline like social work, social science, humanities, sociology or other related subjects and commerce or management etc. are eligible.
Students appearing for the final year examination can also apply. Some universities suggest 60% in the qualifying exam; it is subjected to the university/institution applying for.
If you wish to study further, you can apply for Doctor of Social Work or else the PhD program i.e., Psychiatric Social Work / Ph.D. Social Work.

As for the job, MSW holder can work both in the Government sector and Private sector. They can have opportunity with international NGOs.
Remuneration for a MSW candidates varies according to his/her experience, quality of service and commitment and inventiveness.

It must be understood that one is not better than the other – both are equivalent programs. At least on paper. But the public perception and the perception amongst students (as evinced by the trends) is that MTech is better than MS. iIdisagree; both cannot be compared.Decide what you want first. If you're interested in working in one particular area, then MS is the thing for you. If you are not able to decide and want to taste different areas in CS, then MTech is the thing for you. i suggest go for M tech on a regular basis, JRE is a good institute for this course it focuses closely on these critical issues and provide a holistic education whereby the needs of all students are met. Modern, stimulating pedagogy, individual mentoring, industry driven knowledge and communication skills are critical aspects of education at JRE.
