Nothing can be predicted beforehand about the no. of questions and/or a score that can fetch you 99 percentile. Percentile is a relative term, which depends upon how the exam is, how the other test-takers have fared in it and how many easy-tricky-difficult questions you've attempted. So, since there isn't any fixed number, it can be anything between 45-70+ questions.

It depends on your interest. If you want to pursue a career in the technical field than GATE is a good choice, a good score in GATE will open your options to get in PSUs. If you want to get a work experience then job is better, even after working for 1-2 years you can appear for GATE and complete M.Tech to enhance your skills.

Hi Prakhar,
You should know German language at least B2 level or a C level. You must check with the German medical council very importantly and obtain the confirmed Observer-ship from a German hospital approved by the German Medical Council. You must also register yourself with a hospital or a Medical Practitioner with German Medical licensing authorities. I will suggest you take help of a consultancy who provides all these contacts and tie-ups.
