After completing B.Tech in ECE you can opt for M.Tech or MS. There are many streams like nano engineering, robotics, VLSI, digital signal processing where you can do research work. These streams are still in growing phase and lot of research work is going on. M.Tech from good institute like IISC, IITs will be beneficial.
If you want to move in business world and have an interest in management role then you can go for MBA. Marketing/Finance/HR/Operations are known streams in MBA. Financial engineering is one of the growing streams offered in some of the B-Schools. As per your interest you can go for the best option.
