As you are planning to write the SET for the Design programs, it is known as SET DAT which is an aptitude test in nature and consist of three sections:English (25 questions)Quantitative (25 questions)Design Aptitude (100 questions)
Although there is no standard set of syllabus, but one may consider the following information while preparing for it:
For English - comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, syntax, correct use of language etc.
For Maths - basic arithmetic (time-work, profit-loss, ratio, percentage etc.), basic algebra, basic geometry etc.
For General Awareness - General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Business Awareness, Information Technology Awareness, Health Awareness and Legal Awareness
and last but not the least is the Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
Pertaining to the above information you can always gather the required information and related reference text and the same is easily available from a book store near you.
