First, you will have to decide, what is your long term goal? If you are seeking career in education sector then M.Tech. followed by Ph.D. is required. If you are looking for PSU jobs then GATE score card is mandatory. If you see yourself in industry then GATE or M.Tech is not required.
In any case, your graduation score suggest that you are a good student and there is 100% chance that if you study 3-4 hour daily for 6 days in a week for 10-12 months, you will definitely score above 98 percentile which is good enough for admission to NITs and even IITs if it is above 99 percentile.

Hello! The choice depends completely on you. The Bachelors of Fine Arts program focuses on design studies: critical thinking, project development, community engagement and collaboration where as Bachelor of Design program includes design fundamentals pertinent to various domains like industrial design, transportation design, communication design and interior design. If you are clear about your specialization then you can go ahead with fine arts. However if you are slightly confused, I would suggest you to go for B.Des as it has broader spectrum. All the best!
