Sound engineers, often referred to as sound engineering technicians, work in music, film, television and radio, as well as during live performances.
They are responsible for recording and mixing voices, as well as music and sound effects for movies, television, radio, plays and other live performances. Some sound engineers are employed on a full-time, permanent basis at television or radio stations and live performance venues, while others work on a freelance basis. Television and film sound engineers frequently work irregular and long hours to accommodate hectic shooting schedules and tight deadlines.

You would be getting 8/10 in both 10th & 12th rating score for calculation of application rating. Hence, you cannot afford to loose a single score in application rating to even get a call from IIM A. Hence, try hard to get 10/10 in Bachelor's degree which would translate to 85%+ score in case you are an engineer or somewhat less in other streams. In terms of CAT percentile, by thumbs up rule, you would need more than 99.7- 99.8 percentile to get a call. Converting it would completely depend on your PI performance.
All the best!

No, you can't get lateral entry into BCA. BCA is a 3 year under graduation degree course. If you want to pursue this course then you will have to pursue it by taking admission into the first year just like everyone else. Lateral entry is not possible in BCA course.

If you are interested in programming then BCA is a better option. You may even opt for B.Sc in IT or CS, but BCA being a specialized course, it may have a higher value.
If you want to continue further, you may even opt for MCA after graduation. After MCA, you can apply for programming for any language of your preference or work as a BA.
You can continue with arts as a hobby alongside the technical education.
Good luck.

Indian IT industry is in decline phase. No. of new jobs being created are reducing day by day because of outcry against outsourcing in Western countries. Most of the freshers recruitment is by campus placement. If you do BCA by distance learning, you will miss out on campus placement opportunities and may struggle to find a job. Therefore, you are advised that you should do BCA only from a prestigious formal college with good campus placement records only.

Hi Gulshan,
Since you missed JEE, there are many colleges in spite of IITs and NITs which offers good placement, but first tell me, did you apply for any other colleges as the deadline of most of the exams are closed. So, you may not apply to those. But, you can still apply for Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune which is a really a good college. You may also apply to these colleges:
