Considering your prior background, I would like to suggest you for certifications in the domain of Networking like CCNA, CCNP, or you may opt for JAVA, J2EE, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems and Industrial Automation, etc. Even SAP or Oracle will be a great idea.
You may even look for advanced courses such as:-
Advance Diploma in Hardware and Networking/Multi-lingual Computer Programming

Media line itself is so challenging and film direction will be more of skill based. To start your career in film direction it is necessary for you to gain knowledge about the basic aspects of film making such as Direction, Cinematography,Camera angles, market demand as in what type of films or T.V. shows are in, etc. Thus, pursuing a diploma/certificate course will not be advisable as these courses would only give you an overview.

You are definately eligible for an Interior Designing Course.In this field you will have to first learn the basic principles of perspective drawings.Interior/Architectural designing is totally different form civil and architects.
I would suggest that you directly visit some Head - offices of leading animation colleges in Bangalore. Avoid going to franchises mushroomed all over the country. Look out for the oldest players of this field where you get trainers with production experience.
The best softwares used for architectural interior designs are Autodesk Maya and 3Ds MAX. You can get amazing realistic renders and design your own styles.
