The IPS posts are filled by the Civil Services Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.
Government of India conducts Indian Police Service (IPS) Exam for the recruitment of Indian candidates for the different Posts in Indian Civil Services.
It leads to recruitment into services like :
Indian Foreign Service,
Indian Administrative Service,
Indian Police Service,
Indian Audit and Accounts Service,
Central Secretariat Service
Indian Revenue Service
You can take up graduation in art stream and prepare for the Civil Services Exam.
IPS Exam consists of total 9 papers based on different topics which are mentioned below:
Paper I: Language Exam
Paper II: General English
Paper III: Essay
Paper IV and V: General Studies
Paper VI, VII, VIII and IX: Optional Subjects
Following are the eligibility criteria for IPS exam:
1. Age limit:
- 21 years minimum
- 30 years maximum
- 33 for OBCs and
- 35 for SCs/STs.
2. Number of Attempts:
4-attempts for General
7-for OBCs
no limit for SCs/STs.
3. Required Qualification:
-Aspirants who want to apply for IPS should possess a bachelors degree(minimum qualification) in any discipline from any University recognized by Government.
- Important thing is that there will be no minimum percentage required to be eligible.

-Commitment to the governance of the nation
-Good peoples skills
-Ability to take orders and maintain the line of command
-Making sound decisions
-Civil servants are expected to show understanding of national and international affairs,and trends

The score tells you can apply to many good institutes , but before applying you must find out which are the institutes that provide high quality education, facilities as well as faculties. AND dear I won't claim about any institute which is the best institute for MBA but i know that any institute which follows Three E Like SAMALKHA GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS do, can provide good education and employment. As a student you should have some preferences , you must check the location, standard of education facilities, faculties, placement records.And the big thing is SGI (Samalkha group) as it is Famously called is good in all these factors, even it was recently awarded for doing that. YOU must put importance on all these factors before you apply.
