If you go with m.tech. then u can go to research field or lectureship.
while doing MBA increases your chances of getting a job in a private firm.

Sameer, one must choose the MBA specialization subject based on the kind of job one wants to do. Any stream would be beneficial if career is made in accordance with it. For example if you are more inclined technically and wish to pursue your career in marketing of engineering goods / machines etc then Marketing would be good for you. If you are more inclined towards the general management of an industry then the Operations stream would be better. If in case you do not like to work as a mechanical engineer and want to change the filed keeping the core knowledge intact then either finance or HR can be beneficial. So decide accordingly.
