Not so good.
Even though the Training and Placement department of NITT shows above 95% placement rate,it is only after going through an initial screening process called CPC'S conducted by immediate seniors of the same branch.Only about 40 out of a current batch of 60 are eligible to sit for placements after successfully passing the CPC process.From these 40 only 12-15 people get placed in core Metallurgy companies like Tata Steel,TVS,Tata Motors,Reliance etc.The rest opt for Management companies(generally Analyst roles) like KPMG,PWC etc and some other companies like Amazon, Flipkart.
The packages offered for core companies isn't that good and is around 9 for Tata Steel and others average 6 LPA.Management Firms offer a better initial pay of above 9 and hence the trend.Despite all these some of them go for higher studies,some take care of their own business and some startup few companies.
Bottom Line
If you are looking into this field as a prospective career option due to passion/interest well and good.But if its just for a good initial pay,not so much.

Placement Wing
The college has very good placement cell. The placement and job opportunities are quite decent. There are lots of opportunities in this college. A lot of core companies and non-core companies come for placements and students generally, prefer the non-core companies. Around 90 companies have visited our campus for the placements. Around 100% placements is achieved for Computer Science and IT students.

FACULTY
The faculty is one of the most experienced and best faculty. Faculty in our college was highly qualified. They all were Ph.D. Degree holder. All the faculty members were having best teaching experience. They are professional and helpful in career growth.

My experience for the college life is too good that I have learn number of things. The environment, especially at Institute Campus, was cool and amazing.

COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The course is for 2 years and 4 semester based the first semester with 6 subject and 1 lab and 1 seminar. The second semester with 6 subject and 1 lab and 1 seminar. The third and fourth semester with project work and comprehensive viva. Courses are good and full of interest it would provide you with enough knowledge to become a professional in your field and will give you enough experience to go forward in the field.

MBA in Hospital & Health Care Management is a 2-year postgraduate course which follows the semester pattern and involves 4 semesters of study. The first year of study focuses on building in candidates a strong foundation in marketing, finance, human resources, and operations applied in healthcare, the combination of which finds effective application for case studies from across the healthcare sector.
