If your aim is to join civil services, then B.A. will be best for you. You will get the UG degree in a short span of 3 years, and then you can appear for the exam. Going for an engineering degree is not suggested, because it will take 4 years and in most cases a year of drop after class 12th is required. Just join Government College, it is better to go for any 3 year UG course and prepare for UPSC with full power. I will suggest you to go for B.A. .

B.sc is 3 year Under Graduate course, And to get admission in this course you need to complete your 12th from Science Stream. To get admission in B.sc, You have to scored atleast 50% Marks in your Intermediate Examination.

Dear, you need not to worry about this you have to fill the form and submit it with timely.
I think that last time 300 to 400 seats are available for B.Sc mathematics. If you got more than 60% marks in 12th classthen you easily take the admission but for this you have to reach at the given time.

There are no specific cut-off marks or ranks for SRM University. However, if your rank is below 30,000, you can get admission into SRM University at any of its other campuses. This means you need to score at least 170/315. 

The overall cutoff for SRMJEEE is 10,000 - 70,000 rank. For admission to the most popular program, BTech CSE offered by SRMIST Chennai campus, candidates may need to get a rank within 10,000 to 20,000. 

Successful candidates will have to register online for the counselling process. The counselling session will be conducted based on a candidates' ranks, seat availability and choices filled.
