Hello Hermione, Always remember"Failure is never final". You can always get better by hard work. It's nice to see your aim of getting into IIST at Trivendrum. Eligibility for this is JEE Advanced and for that one needs 75% marks in 12th. However there are plenty of other good colleges with this branch. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about these colleges. Yes, YMCA is a good option to do BCA.
YMCA has good placement record as it is the topmost college in Haryana and one who is good in this field can definitely get placed from YMCA.

Yes, you can do M.Sc from environmental Science after B.Sc in earth Science, but if you do the post-graduation in same branch as you had in under graduation, that will be more beneficial for you.

There is nothing like CAT cut-off. The MBA institutes based on the score achieved in CAT allot admission based on merit. A score of around 90+ percentile is good enough to get into top 50 management institutes.
