Both the colleges are very good for CSE.
NIT Trichy comes in the ranking of top NITs of India and BITS Pilani is the premier private engineering institute. However, when it comes to CSE, BITS Pilani certainly has an edge over NITT. BITS has its flagship course as CSE which is at par with the top IITs like IIT Delhi, Bombay, etc. The kind of environment and peer-learning which you get at BITS Pilani is simply phenomenal. The campus life of BITS Pilani is one of the best in India and flexibility of electives is obviously there. If I talk about placements, BITS Pilani CSE has the best placements among all other courses. Some companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. Many students jump out of their core CSE profile and get into a consulting role at McKinsey or Goldman Sachs. So, I would suggest go for BITS Pilani. However, If money is an issue, you should join NITT. Best wishes.

*The candidate must have a recognised first degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline from Panjab University with at least 50% marks and with Mathematics at 10+2 or at graduation level (all three years) and should be from Punjab university only.
*Candidates who are applying for CET-PG 2018 should not be less than 21 years of age.
*Candidates for M.Tech course need to pass their B.E or B.Tech with relevant discipline and aggregate mark being 50% except for M.Tech in Polymer and it requires 60% marks.
*Candidates applying for LL. M. course have to pass LL.B (3 year course) or BA LL.B or B.Com or equivalent degree from any recognised educational board with an aggregate mark of 55% for general category but only 50% for SC or ST.
