As per my knowledge, the maximum age limit to apply for the five year BA LLB is 20 years, but for a 45 year old, one can search for the related courses through the correspondence mode as that would be the only way to be eligible but then it should well be known that there is less relevancy after pursuing and one cannot pursue a career in law full time as the BCI does not acknowledges distance/ correspondence mode of study a legal way.
All the Best!

Advisable would be that you should opt for a full time B.E programme through Lateral Entry Examination rather than going for a part time programme as it would definitely have more value in the job market than a part time or a correspondence degree. However, few of the institutes in which you may try for part time or correspondence programme are: IGNOU, Annamalai University, Acharya Nagarjuna, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anna University, and University of Calicut etc.

I would completely agree with Nikhlesh ji on this. I would rather suggest that not only for chemistry but for any subject the most important thing to have good hold on the subject is to be clear about its fundamentals, if you have a strong base you would not face problem in the subject. Second thing is to have good hold on formulas and practicing regularly by attempting previous years question papers. All this will help you in preparation and give you the confidence. Also if even after doing all this you feel that you are still facing problems go for coaching classes as suggested by Nikhleshji.
Thanks,
Pooja
