In order to pursue Masters for UK, you need to have:
Good academic record, preferably 60% plus in graduation
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.

For becoming an IPS officer and serve the nation there are some constructive ways to go about. First and most important is that you require to be a graduate degree holder from a recognized University. After which you need to write the UPSC exams, the notification beging in february.

• IMA & OTA- Degree of a recognized University or equivalent
• Naval Academy- B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg
• Air Force Academy- B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg
Candidates who are appearing at the degree or equivalent examination are also eligible. Such candidates will be required to submit the proof of passing the requisite qualifying examination by a date to be specified in the Commission's Notice for the Examination.
