This Exam will cover areas like English, Economic and Social Issues, Finance and Management. However, there is no one specific book which you can follow but few of the books you can consult are: SURA bank probationary officer book, books from Upkar publications, Lal & Jain, Ramesh RBI Grade B Officers Exam Guide etc.

I would completely agree with Nikhlesh ji on this. i would rather suggest that not only for chemistry but for any subject the most important thing to have hold on the subject is to be clear about its fundamentals, if you have a strong base you would not face problem in the subject. Second thing is to have good hold on formulas and practicing regularly by attempting previous years question papers. All this will help you in preparation and give you the confidence.

Frankly speaking the kind of salary one draws would largely depend on the caliber of the person and how you use the knowledge earn. I agree with Mr. Nirmal that the salary you draw at the time of article – ship would be pretty less but the chances are high that if you perform well at the time of your article - ship you may be able to fetch a permanent job their, once you have a job in hand you can look for better job opportunities and with Experience you would be able to get up the ladder. CWA is a good option in case you want to enter the corporate world as well.

As far as my Knowledge goes you can go for Lateral Entry after BCA by giving Lateral Entry Entrance Examination. For further information on the complete procedure you need to get in touch with the Institutes giving admission through Lateral Entry like Manipal University etc.
