There have some serious consequences when bringing prohibited items to take any IIT JAM exams: 

Disqualification from the Exam: You can be disqualified from the exam, meaning your test could be taken away from you, and you could leave the examination room with the exam immediately invalidated. 
Seizure of Items: Any prohibited item found on your person will be taken from you by the exam officials. 
Possibly Criminal Action: Depending upon the item and the terms of the examination centre, in some cases bringing a prohibited item may incur some form of charges.

CG PET 2026 exam date has been announced online. Exam will be held on May 14, 2026. Students should check and stay updated with CG PET important dates so they do not miss any important entrance exam or admission related events.

For CG PET admission, students should have passed 12th class qualifying entrance examination with Maths, Physics and Chemistry. A minimum of 45% marks should have been scored in exam. For reserved category, minimum marks is 40%.

Minimum age limit for CG PET is 17 years as of admission year. Additionally, students should not be more than 30 years of age as of July 1 of admission year. Reserved category students are given a three year relaxation in age limit.

No, the paper pattern of IMU CET is not similr to the JEE Main exam.

Yes, there is negative marking in the exam. As per the minus marking, for every wrong question, 0.25 marks will be deducted from candidates.

During the last few days before the CG PET exam, the students are advised to not study any new topics or concepts. Instead, they are advised to focus on what they have earlier studied to strengthen their concepts. Students should also attempt mock tests and revise regularly.
