Hello Ankit,
Your query is absolutely on the dot, but I am afraid at the moment there is no straight forward answer. Unlike the NEET as only one exam for medical aspirants, for engineering a student has to appear for as many exams as he can give. Perhaps the minimum being the exam that his state has decided and JEE Mains. Then of course almost every Deemed to be University has its own exam the student has to appear. In view of this, you need to decide where you want to go for your engineering and then prepare accordingly for the concerned entrance exam. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sabri,From last year onwards Anna University has disbanded the entrance exam for students who are aspiring to become engineering graduates. Now the admissions are based solely on the marks obtained in class 12th examination papers. In view of this, it is quite difficult to give the cutoff for Anna University since it all depends on how the board awards marks or how students prepare themselves for the class 12th examination in Tamilnadu. I would advise you to aim for a score of at least 90% and above if you want to ensure your seat in an Engineering College. Best wishes to you.

Yes, a candidate who has secured minimum qualifying marks in Post-Graduation and do not have valid NET score card, can also apply for PhD programme. Such candidates need to appear for the entrance exam organized by the institutes offering PhD programme. After, they have qualified the written examination, they need to appear for GD/PI or other process required for admission in PhD programme and the candidates who have qualified GATE/NET are exempted from written examination.

Hello Abhijeet,
It is very nice and interesting to see that you have set your target to become B.Tech in Computer Sciences. Yes your question looks quite genuine since many students are not aware to which college you can apply. But first let me clarify some issues. As per your marks of 12th I'm afraid you can't think of joining any NIT or IIT since the eligibility to appear for JEE Mains is minimum 75%. Okay that should not discourage you since the states do not follow this and I am sure your state also would have plenty of colleges which are offering Computer Science as a branch. You need to appear for the entrance exam prescribed by y

Hello Satbir,
Yes, you can apply in MAIMS, GGSIPU for B.Com honors. You have to give an entrance test for this. Marks of class 12th do not matter. Marks and rank in entrance test will only matter.
All the best.
