Hi,
If you are already studying class 11 and 12/ PUC, then it would be good to take up electrical and electronics engineering in B.E or B.Tech. However, Diploma soon after 10th could also be a good option leading to electrical engineering second year after completion of Diploma.

Hello Shambhavi,
Diploma in Engineering in electrical branch. Well, it could be a career option in the Limited sense that you want to start working initially and then build up your career. In a government job, Diploma will not get you much ahead since minimum graduation would be needed to go far. If you are starting on your own either as Electrical consultant or as an entrepreneur then this initial training is it good enough for subsequent progress in life but if you are thinking about a job then perhaps it would be better if you think of doing graduation. Best wishes to you.
