Well both CLAT and ILI CAT are closely related offering same syllabus and pattern for the exam. To be more specific, entrance test is divided into three parts,
Part I: It is an objective paper carrying 30 questions with 30 marks. The question will cover the areas of
English Language
General Awareness
Part II: The question paper carries 60 marks with 60 questions and the topics covered under this part is,
Public International Law
Partnership and Sale of Goods Act
Law of Torts
Law of Limitation
Jurisprudence
IPC
Family Laws
Commercial Law
Part III: It is a subjective paper was the candidates need to answer the questions with minimum 150 words and the paper carries a total of 40 marks. The areas of the question paper will be,
Constitutional Law
Contract, Partnership and Sale of Goods Act

Hi Mihir, well, as per your query, I would say that it is a low score to get admission in any good government institute. But, not to worry, you have still options with you. You may either opt for private colleges or appear for GATE exam again.

Hi,
There are various universities which offers LLB and each of them conducts an entrance examination to assess the candidates eligibility to pursue law.
An entrance is conducted on national level, jointly by 11 national law universities. This entrance examination has been named CLAT-common law admission test. To be eligible for the test, you must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in your +2 level of examination.
