Hi, to pursue a career in chemicals you should have a graduate degree (B.E / B.Tech) or postgraduate degree (M.E) in Chemical Engineering.
The basic eligibility criteria for a BE / B.Tech is 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
There are both degree as well as diploma courses. One can even go for the 3 year diploma course after the 10th standard (SSC).
So, to be a part of the stream you need to pursue B.E.

Hi Mehak, Genetic Engineering (GE) is a highly complicated and advanced branch of science which involves a wide range of techniques used in changing the genetic material in the DNA code in a living organism.
The basic eligibility criteria for a graduate degree is 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as genetics as part of the biology

MSW - Stands for Master of Social Work. Typically, a MSW is a 2 year course, minimum eligibility for which is a graduation in any discipline. Social Work is the organized effort towards helping communities, groups or individuals in need. Subjects studied under this degree are psychology, sociology, human behavior and growth, methodology and social work research.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Graduation from a reputed institute. Students from other discipline like social work, social science, humanities, sociology or other related subjects and commerce or management etc. are eligible.
Some universities suggest 60% in the qualifying exam; it is subjected to the university/institution applying for.
The selection process is depending upon the Entrance test and the followed by personal interview along with group discussion.
Entrance Exam Pattern:
The exam is of objective type with minimum 100 marks. Most of the institutions follow the negative mark system. The students need to mark their answers in OMR sheets. The questions are mainly asked from the areas like:-
