Course options available after 12 th are :
1. professional courses like b.tech., BCA, MBBS (if you have medical) BBA.
2. science based graduation streams:
a) for medical /non medical students: various graduation streams like B.Sc. in mathematics , physics, chemistry.or in applied streams like electronics, instrumentation, polymer sciences.b) for medical students: B.Sc. in biomedical sciences, biochemistry, microbiology
3. switch over to commerce or humanities streams like:economics, b.com. etc.
4. Still others like ca, cs, etc.
5. one may go for aptitude based streams like design.and many more.
* the best specialization one can opt for in b.sc. -refer to point 2.selection of the stream depends on your end objective, for example, you may choose P/C/M in case the idea is to teach in coaching institutes and you are not very sure about your interest area . this would would be a safe bet.because then you will have diverse options for higher studies as well as job opportunities.mathematics may be the best among the three .if you have a way with numbers .
Else, applied courses like electronics, polymer sciences, etc. ( offered by Delhi University ) is another viable option for good industry interface but options for m.sc. may be whittled down a bit.
# gauge your interest and work around your target (m.sc., mba, job in a particular industry, govt sector , entrepreneurship , et al.) after 3-4 years of undergraduate studies which will help you decide on your course of study.
# once you have decided about your career stream, look up the entrance exams you need to give to be eligible for admission.

Well the Technical Entry Scheme -TES(For High School Science Graduates) is only for Army, the details are as follows:
The TES entry is open twice a year.
Vacancies Per Course – 85
Form availability - Apr and Sep Notified by Additional Directorate General of Recruiting
The requirements for entry into TES is as follows:
Age - 16 ½ to 19 yrs
ie. Born Between 1st Jul to 1st Jul for Jan Course and 1st Jan to 1 Jan for Jul Course
Qualification – 10+2 Physics, Chemistry & Maths (aggregate 70% and above to apply)
Marital Status – Un Married
Application to be Received by – 30 Jun and 31 Oct
Likely SSB Date – Aug to Oct and Feb to Apr
Date Commencement of Training – Jan and Jul
Training Academy – IMA Dehradun
Duration of Training – 5 Yrs (1 Yrs IMA & 4 Yrs CTWS) Permanent Commission after 4 Yrs.
For other positions in Army, Navy or Air force you can appear in NDA Examination, details are as follows:
NDA & NA Examination : You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.
Eligibility Criteria
Age – 16 ½ to 19 years(at the time of commencement of course)
Nationality – Indian
Gender – Men only
Educational Qualifications – 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Appearing final year students can also eligible to apply.

Actuarial science is a course that concentrates on the mathematical and statistical analysis of risk, and their applications to insurance and other business management problems.
A number of universities offer UG and PG courses in actuarial sciences. Any one above 18 years of age with proficiency in mathematics and statistics can take up the course and become an Actuary. The candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent

Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science
Eligibility: Candidates who wish to pursue a Undergraduate in actuarial science or a certificate course in actuarial science should have a pass class in the XII standard.
