A candidate failing in one of the five subjects of external examination shall be placed in compartment in that subject provided she qualifies in all the subjects of internal assessment.

I would like to add .You pursued ITI.get a job on that basis.now you have one option that is take lateral entry into diploma in engineering. This can be done either appearing for entrance exam or part time. Part time diploma are for those working persons who cant go college ay day time. Normally all districts have such one polytechnique which offer part time diploma. It will be as equivalent to ur regular course. You will attain college normally after 3 pm. But the duration of the course will be 4 years not 3 years and after this diploma you can take lateral entry into BE. Like this you will be earning and learning.
