Hi, did they specify any date by when they need your documents to keep your application in consideration? If no, then there is no issue. At least your application reached the University on time in the first instance!!!! The good thing is that they at least e mailed you for pending documents which simply means they are willing to consider your application and consider you as a potential students. (Although, I would recommend you to not start dreaming about it).
If there is a genuine reason for delay like : you appeared for TOEFL at a later date then there should not be any problem.
Have they acknowledged receiving your passport copy and TOEFL result? If yes, then its a good sign. If no then you just need to wait for them to acknowledge. And if they don't in the next one month after you sent the dox then you should e mail and find out.
