Hi,
If you mean full time MBA or PGDM program then please remember in order to pursue this program you need to take various management entrance tests like CAT, MAT,XAT,CMAT.SNAP, etc.
Please note that GATE scores are not accepted for getting admission in MBA or PGDM program.
I would request Neeraj - Kumar to share his expert opinion on this.
The final selection in full time MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students. i.e. 50% marks in graduation.
2. Score in various management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.

Vijay, I am not sure which course you are looking at. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge.
