Hello Tintu,
PGDM expands to Post Graduate Diploma in Management, The main reason why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (meaning it is not affiliated to any University) and conducts management courses then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Even IIMs, XLRI's doesn't offer MBA degrees they only give PGP Diploma or PGDM since they are autonomous and independent bodies.
When an Institute secures autonomy they design their own curriculum to be taught instead of following outdated University syllabus. Technically syllabus change affects university affiliating colleges, the books ne

Hi Praveen
No matter which course you choose if you study computer science they you have to study MATHs and if you can then go for Btech(CS/IT). Choosing BCA will give you some ease in your graduation but later you can't get good job on the basis of BCA degree so you need to do master's which is all about maths mostly.
Or you can choose any specilization.
Conclusion of the whole story is doing Btech(cs/it) is better than BCA . Btech degree is equevalent to MCA degree . .
Take it as individual opinion :)
Regards
Kumar Ravi

Hi,
MBA is a post graduate degree and is offered by universities, whereas PGDM is post graduate diploma and is offered by AICTE approved autonomous institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum and is equally accepted by corporates for job so you may pursue any of these course.
However if you wish to pursue Phd in future in that case you may consider pursuing MBA only.
While taking admission your emphasis should be more on taking admission in good universities or institutes.
You may consider some of the below mentioned points while selecting a institute or university to pursue MBA or PGDM program:
- Accreditation of th
