One of the best approaches while deciding on your subjects/ stream is to opt for or look at doing something that you are good at and would enjoy keeping in mind your personality, aptitude, ability, strengths and career goals.
If you have sincere interest in Mass Communication, then you can improve your English for which I may suggest you-
Speak without Fear- Learning English requires practice. Don’t let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.
Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster.
Surround Yourself with English- Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English language radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television.
You can expand your vocabulary and hear the flow of speech from the actors. If you listen to the music and even news to hear different accents.
Only by studying things like grammar and vocabulary and doing exercises, you can really improve your knowledge of any language.
Do Exercises and Take Tests in order to know how much you are progressing.
Record Yourself- It is good to compare your tapes from time to time.
Make a time plan and follow it strictly without any failure. Don't take it as a stress rather find enjoyment and fun while learning the language.
You can work on your basic English and make a career as a Hindi Journalist or Writing (Hindi).
