Course material for the Preliminary ExamAs announced - The Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) will now consists of Two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II. Both Papers are of the Objective type carrying a maximum of 200 marks and duration of 2 hours each. Paper I consists of 7 topics and Paper II 6 topics. Our material for Paper I will be covered in 8 Sets and for Paper II, 6 Sets. The core material in each set will be supported by a number of a Question Bank and Test papers. A Model Test Paper will be sent in March 2011.
Course material for the Main ExamThe course material for General Studies and Optionals thoroughly explains the topics in the form of notes and short/long essays. Questions from previous years' CSE papers are indicated under each topic. Further, an assignment is also given in each set. It is essential that students answer these questions on their own and send us the answers to be evaluated by our professors and returned along with their suggestions. A select Bibliography of additional source materials is given for the students' reference. There are 12 sets of study materials in each subject. Those for Essay and Compulsory English have an approach paper of adequate exercises for improving the art of writing English and model essays. The latest five years' CSE question papers with answers are provided as additional guidance for students. One Model Test Paper is also sent as a final boost to the students' preparation.
Current AffairsThis monthly booklet has short essays discussing important national and international events of the previous month. A monthly chronological 'Calendar of Events' is also sent.
Interview SupportTopics related to personality and demeanour are dealt with in special counselling despatches after the completion of the Main Exam. Those who qualify for the interview are further assisted through counselling sessions and 'Practice Interviews' at Chennai and New Delhi by a panel ofexperts.

The Common Proficiency Test is an entry level test i.e. the first level at which a student starts pursuing their Chartered Accountancy qualification.
On passing Class 10 examination students may register for Common Proficiency Test ,which is held in Common Proficiency Test examinations are held in June & December every year.
It is a test of four subjects— Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude.
A student who has passed Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination may join the Professional Competence Course (PCC). * Simultaneously, the student must register for articled training of a period of three and half years. * After 3 months of article ship student has to register and undergo 100 Hours Information Technology Training. * A student can appear in Professional Competence Examination (PCE) after successful completion of 100 Hours of Information Technology Training and also completion of 15 months of articled training three months. This must end prior to the first day of the month in which Professional Competence Examination (PCE) is to be held i.e. after completion of 15 months of articled training as on 1st February/1st August for appearing in May/November.
Examination or 18 months of articled training as on 1st May/November.Graduate & Post graduate entry -From August 2012 graduates and Postgraduates can enroll directly for the Integrated Professional Competency Course(IPCC).
After registering for the program, aspirants undergo three years of training under a practicing chartered accountant. On the successful completion of nine months training, they can appear for the IPCC exam. They will also have to complete the 100 hours of Information Technology Training Course and 35 hours of orientation course.
