Hi Himanshu, An MBA does not guarantee you a job or a good salary. A lot depends on which college you pursue your MBA from. I suggest that you concentrate on scoring well in MBA entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT and XAT. Try and get in a good college post which everything will depend on how you grab on to opportunities presented to you in your bschool.

To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful in your chosen field. Always remember, you should pursue a stream/course based on two things :
-your career goal
-the type of job you want to do
It is possible to pursue 2 courses together, however one has to decide which course to pursue as a regular mode of learning and which from distance / correspondence. There is difference in Correspondence and Regular course, I would say it varies from one subject to the oth

A CBSE student, is always someone who looked upto against a state board. So, you must make sure you concentrate on your favourite subjects as you mentioned - Commerce. This means, you will also have to take Accounting, Economics, etc., which will make it a package. I think your teachers will help you assess this too. Also, you must take English as this will help you in case you want to study abroad. So what are the subjects offered? Hope this helps. Thanks!

Human Resources is a good field to study. However you must understand any company, does not need more than 5 HR professionals especially due to computerization of data and services. Hotels are many and growing. However, many hotels prefer IHM grads. So do not do Hospitality either if it is going to be a new field. You may wish to choose Marketing as Marketers are always needed. Also, to specialize you only learn a maximum of 2-4 subjects in that field, for eg.: hospitality. So, would these four subjects give you more knowledge than those IHM or WGSHA grads who have spent 3-4 yrs? Hope this helps. Thanks!

Hey there! Go with what your passion goes. In my opinion Automotive Design has a lot of scope. And yes, Automotive is quite good in USA. Germany is exceptional. Yes. However so is the USA. There is a catch. These niche programs get very highly qualified students. I have dealt with students with CGPA of 9.86 with 339 GRE. I am not exaggerating. Similarly, in Germany, if you know German upto B2, with good grades, and if you have have an awesome GRE then you can get in great universities there too. Hope this helps. Thanks!
