A B.Sc. Hospitality degree will obviously lead you to jobs in the Hospitality sector. This degree is more industry-focused. Hence, you may want to pursue an MBA immediately after your B.Sc. or choose to work for at least 3 years prior to embarking on an MBA. Hospitality refers to jobs in Hotels, Airlines etc., You must also understand that people with Hospitality degree and/job experience may have shifted other sector eg.: education. As long as your skills that you have acquired over the years match a certain job requirement, you can work in any sector provided you justify your skills.
Hope this helps. Thanks!

We all want the best for us. However, we fail to understand, only when we place our best 'interest' can we emulate best out of something. Hence, if you love marketing and if I suggest that you take HR, you should not take it just to obediently honour my suggestion. Rather, only if you choose in whichever area of a business you are comfortable in viz., marketing, HR, finance, operations, sales, etc., can you excel. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Hi Tanya,
The minimum aggregate is 60 percent but depending on the course and the University the percentage would vary. Also, which university in India you graduate from also matters.lower aggregate for top universities and higher for tier 2 universities! You should aim for a cgpa of above 7.8 and a GRE score above 320 to get into the top universities in Germany. Also, effective research experience and project work would also help your profile.

While society still holds a traditional degree in higher esteem over a diploma programme, times are changing and students have more options to choose from. Despite this conventional belief, some of the reputed institutes in the country, such as the IIMs and NID, are offering diploma programmes as well.

But, as far as professional competence is concerned, whether you pursue a degree or a diploma, it doesn't make a difference. What matters is the reputation of the institute, faculty, how good the course st

Hi Nitin,
Both the institutes mentioned by you are equally good and thus it will be very difficult to tell which one will be the best option. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute among them. You can consider the below parameters
1) Faculty
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material
4) Quality Education
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.
