I am not so aware about Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology and their placements. Placement is more of student's labour but yes, university also plays vital role.
I have done my engineering from Lovely Professional University and as per my experience I would say LPU has the best placements when it comes to engineering and LPU is also awarded with "National Employability Award-2020".

Rules of the college:
Boys and Girls cannot talk inside the campus. (But hey, you've Facebook, Whatsapp to help you out ;) )
No mobiles allowed in the college campus (not even in the annual functions). But I heard now they are allowing laptops and mobile phones in the college hostel.

MBA would be a better option because then you are thrown to a wider range of jobs. Moreover, you can choose a specializations in the second year. The point to keep in mind is that the college should provide good training in such a manner that you are all ready for the market. Your skills should be honed to that extent that you feel confident
