HI,IAS mean's Indian Administrative Service is the administrative civil service of the Government Of India.IAS officers play large role in the bureau of the both central Government and the state government.The civil service examination is used for recruitment for many indain administrative bodies.In this field have many approach such that four type a)Choosing Optional,b)Collection Materials,c)Preparation and d)Outcome. a)Choosing Optional: This is a first and important stage in the approach.Surely,the wrong optional that is not suited for you will lead to failure.So,choose the right optional that is fit for you.For sure success,this step is very important. b)Collection of Materials: After choosing your optional,the next stage is collecting the materials both for your optional and also for General Studies.Materials means suggested books,notes,important cuttings from newspaper,magazines etc.,Collect as much you can. c)Preparation:This is the third stage and very important stage in the approach.In this stage,you are going to prepare yourself for the exam using your materials.Self study is needed and also you can join with coaching centers.The time of preparation depends on you. d)Outcome: her/his is the last stage in your approach

As Shiksha is an education portal which believes in giving the unbiased guidance it would not be fair on my part to give a judgment or any personal opinion on these two Institutes. However, few of the things which you keep in mind while choosing an Institute are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, The infrastructure, The faculty(their educational background), The placement, Last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute.

As you have clearly mentioned that your latest education qualification is 12th passed, I would advise you to opt for pursuing a graduate degree through the correspondence mode. There are many Universities in India which are offering you these courses like IGNOU, YCMOU, Sikkim Manipal University and many more.
