No, it is not mandatory, the minimum marks you should have in your class 12th exam is 75% in PCM, and if you have any reserved quota, then it is become a bit easier for you as 5% relaxation is given to reserve quota is like ST, SC, OBC and additional 5% relaxation is given to subcategory like defense, Kashmiri migrant, etc.

Hey Avinash,
CSE is the flagship course of BITS Pilani and hence a higher BITSAT score is required. For Pilani Campus, you need to score 380+ where as for Goa and Hyderabad campus you need 360+ for admission.

If your study for 4 hours and understand the logic and concept instead of studying for 10 hours just "solving problems" the former will yield definitely more marks than the later.
As maths is almost every time easy (if you have interest) in JEE comparing to others. So, I suggest in order to cover it in a limited time frame follow these steps.
Every day before starting draw out a rough plan of what topics you will cover today pointwise.
